With every short-lease contract you receive a total package of associated services, including: maintenance, repairs, motor vehicle tax and insurance. This means in principle that you can drive without worries. You only have to refuel yourself.
As a leasing company, we ensure that the vehicle is insured before you take it on the road. You don't have to do anything for this yourself. In addition to car insurance, we always take out passenger insurance. This means that not only your car is insured, but also you, any passengers and possessions.
The car is insured with us on the basis of a WA-Plus insurance. This means that you are insured for the most common damage. In the overview below you can see what is insured with a WA-Plus car insurance and what is not.
– Damage to other cars and/or property
– In case of theft, burglary and loss
– Damage caused by storm, hail, fire and flooding
– Damage by wild animals
– Own damage due to collision
– Damage if the driver does not have a (valid) driver's license
– Damage sustained while driving under the influence
– Damage due to improper use
– If your car was not locked or your keys were still in the car
– You are seriously to blame for the damage
With a regular car insurance you are not covered for everything. For this reason, a passenger insurance is also included in the lease contract that you conclude with us. A passenger insurance reimburses damage to persons and property in your car in the event of a traffic accident. The passenger insurance is an additional insurance that is normally not included as standard with your car insurance. It is therefore an addition to the basic coverage.
With Dealerleasing you are insured on the basis of an accident occupant insurance. With an accident occupant insurance you will receive a fixed amount after an accident. It is important that this amount is only paid out in the event of permanent disability or death. It does not matter whether you are at fault for the accident or who becomes disabled or dies.
