Check the allowed countries

With Dealerleasing, you are allowed to drive your lease car through most of Europe. You will need a green card for this, which you can request via contractbeheer@dealerleasing.nl. However, some countries in Europe are excluded, including Turkey. For more information about permitted and excluded countries, it is best to contact your lease advisor.

Check the number of agreed kilometers

At the start of the lease contract, a certain annual mileage is agreed upon, or how many kilometers you are allowed to drive on an annual basis. This is converted into an average number of kilometers that you are allowed to drive per month. Do you drive more kilometers in a month than the permitted average that we have calculated based on the annual mileage? Then you will receive an invoice from us based on the additional kilometer price and the number of extra kilometers that were driven in that month. Does it appear at the end of your lease contract that you have driven fewer kilometers than the agreed number of kilometers? Then this will of course be settled again and you will get the amount back.

Environmental stickers and environmental zones abroad

If you are going to travel through Europe by car, it is important to take into account the rules regarding environmental stickers and environmental zones abroad. Various cities and countries have set up environmental zones to improve air quality and reduce vehicle emissions in those areas. As a result, not every vehicle is allowed to drive around in an environmental zone. The emission class of the vehicle often determines whether you are allowed to enter an environmental zone. In Europe, environmental zones can be found in major cities in Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Belgium, among others. Before you go on holiday, check whether you want to drive through an environmental zone and what you need or have to do for this.
